Short Story- Erics favourite horse

Eric had several horses, He had a tall one, a short one and even a purple one. But his favourite horse was Carlos. Carlos was a small and smelly old horse.
"That ain't no horse," The other horses would exclaim. And in many ways they were correct, Carlos wasn't a horse...

He was a turtle.

"I don't care what the others say," Eric would tell Carlos, "You will always be a horse to me."
Eric and Carlos were always very happy. (They even won the grand national a couple of times!)
